El congreso estuvo precedido por un concurso de dibujos, bajo el lema de la leyenda del Acueducto, para la elecci\u00f3n de su distintivo. Por lo dem\u00e1s, la participaci\u00f3n de ilusionistas extranjeros le otorg\u00f3 un car\u00e1cter internacional, lo que unido a su mod\u00e9lica organizaci\u00f3n contribuy\u00f3 a difundir la imagen de la ciudad en el mundo a trav\u00e9s de los diferentes medios de comunicaci\u00f3n que recalaron en Segovia. Hoy, cuando se cumplen sesenta a\u00f1os de su celebraci\u00f3n, nos parece oportuno rescatarlo del olvido como referente para una ciudad que no oculta su vocaci\u00f3n de convertirse en sede de importantes congresos y festivales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-primary-color has-text-color\"><strong>Palabras clave<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>II Congreso, Ilusionismo, Segovia, 1953<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-primary-color has-text-color\"><strong>Abstract<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This study recalls the I National Conference of Illusionism celebrated in Segovia in the year 1953, an even that blended in an exemplary way the fields of art, magic and publicity. The conference was preceded by a contest of drawing under the motto the legend of the Acueduct in order to select the emblem. Participation of other countries gave an international character to it, and together with the organization contributed to commercialize the image of the city in the world through different media that came to Segovia.
