El an\u00e1lisis de los datos obtenidos en esta investigaci\u00f3n permite apreciar c\u00f3mo el conocimiento de los mecanismos de la corte regia y de la curia pontificia constitu\u00eda en aquellos momentos un poderoso factor de promoci\u00f3n en el desarrollo de una carrera eclesi\u00e1stica de \u00e9xito.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-primary-color has-text-color\"><strong>Palabras clave<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Obispo de Guarda, Obispo de Segovia, Curia apost\u00f3lica, Corte del rey, relaciones diplom\u00e1ticas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-primary-color has-text-color\"><strong>Abstract<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This paper seeks to look close into the biographical elements of Afonso Domingues de Linhares, also known as Afonso Correia, bishop of Guarda and Segovia during the second half of the Fourteenth Century, as to present new information of his ecclesiastical and curial career gathered from a diversified array of sources, namely those produced by the apostolic chamber.
